Multi-tasking has become second nature. Whether you want to monitor a live cricket match while replying to emails, or keep a breaking news broadcast on screen while working on a document, **Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode** is the perfect feature. PiP shrinks the video player into a small floating window that stays on top of other applications. In this article, we show you how to set up and use PiP mode on web browsers and Android devices.
Using Picture-in-Picture on Web Browsers
Modern web browsers (including Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox) support native Picture-in-Picture.
How to trigger PiP on SportsNest Web:
1. Launch any live channel stream.
2. Hover your cursor over the video player to reveal the media controls.
3. Click the **Picture-in-Picture icon** (typically represented by a small box inside a larger box, located next to the full-screen button).
4. The video will pop out into the bottom corner of your screen. You can drag to resize it or move it to any position on your desktop.
*Tip:* In browsers like Chrome, you can also right-click the video twice to reveal the browser's native context menu and select "Picture in picture."
Enabling PiP on Android Devices
On Android, Picture-in-Picture is a system-level feature that allows apps to continue playing video when you press the home button.
How to set it up:
1. **Check Permissions:** Go to Settings > Apps > SportsNest > Special App Access > **Picture-in-Picture** > Ensure "Allow permission" is enabled.
2. **Usage:** Start playing a channel in the SportsNest app.
3. **Go Home:** Swipe up or press the Home button on your navigation bar.
4. **Enjoy:** The video will immediately shrink into a floating window on your phone's desktop. You can tap the window to return to full-screen or drag it to close it.
